Community-Based Programs

The Learning Exchange offers year-round free programs and drop-in activities. It’s hands-on learning and leading for community members.

English Conversation Program (ECP)

These small group sessions focus on language, Canadian culture and the local community. The ECP also includes peer facilitator training for volunteers who wish to lead conversation sessions, either on their own or with a UBC student. There are also informal conversation activities specially created for seniors (55 years of age or older).
