Animating Connections & Drop-in Program Assistant
Support local residents in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside to engage in learning-orientated activities that develop their interests, capacity and leadership. This role will draw upon a student’s academic strengths and personal interests to support, design and deliver programming in the form of workshops and special events.

English Conversation Program Assistant
Support local residents in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside to learn English, make connections and practice leadership, while supporting wellness programs for seniors.

Downtown Eastside Educational Assistant
Support two dynamic, literacy-focused educational projects in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (DTES) and in collaboration with the UBC Learning Exchange’s network of campus and community partners. This role is ideally suited for a current UBC graduate student with experience in adult education theory and practice, knowledge exchange and translation, and community engaged learning.

Assist with social media and other communications efforts to spotlight the many ways people can engage with the UBC Learning Exchange to learn from each other, and to support the Making Research Accessible in the Downtown Eastside initiative.
