The UBC Learning Exchange has two Work Learn roles available for UBC students this summer (see below).
Community-Based Digital Literacy Assistant
Play a key role with the UBC Learning Exchange and our community partner, the Downtown Eastside Literacy Roundtable, to support community members to learn digital technology through activities like Computer Workshops, which take place at the Learning Exchange, and Drop-in Tech Cafes, which take place in a variety of locations around the Downtown Eastside. English Conversation Program Assistant
Work and learn in a dynamic community-facing program in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside to support local residents to learn English, make connections and practice leadership, while supporting wellness programs for seniors. Apply via the UBC Student Work Learn Portal.
