Temporary Closure in Response to COVID-19

On-site activities at the UBC Learning Exchange are closed for now to support physical distancing to help stop the spread of COVID-19. UBC will reassess the closure as new information becomes available.

This means that the Drop-In space is closed and all in-person events and activities are cancelled or postponed.

However, we are hosting a number of programs online, including:

  • English Conversation Program (ECP) and Sing & Learn sessions.
For more information, email kisun.kim@ubc.ca or leave a voicemail at 604-822-6169.
  • Virtual Drop-In activities.
For more information, email karen.chiang@ubc.ca or leave a voicemail at 604-827-2772.

Otherwise, Learning Exchange staff are working from home and can be reached by email, here. Please don’t hesitate to contact us.

UBC is committed to Downtown Eastside communities and will re-open the Learning Exchange as soon as it is safe to do so. Keep an eye on this page for new announcements. For general updates about UBC, watch this page.
