“Night Before the Opera” at Carnegie Centre

Hosted by Doug Tuck, Communications Manager at the Vancouver Opera, and Karen Lee-Morlang, Music Coordinator at the UBC Learning Exchange.

Each session consists of recorded video clips, a historical overview of the composer’s life and works, and live excerpt demonstrations from students and alumni from the UBC School of Music as well as other musicians from the community.

Admission is free, and the first 90 participants are given one ticket to see the formal dress rehearsal.
